He is having 25 years of experience in Industry, Consultance, Teaching , Training and Research. He won various awards and honors and guiding 7 Ph.D scholars. He published many Research papers. He is a member in nearly 20 professional institutions. He is the co-investigator of the proposal for national Research Initiative in Micro air Vehicles under the auspices of DRDO. He was the Organising Secretary of International conferences. He is the editor in chief for a quarterly journal published by NDRF. He is also the publisher of a quarterly journal of IISE. He is also editor -in-chief of "Manufacturing Technology and Management" - a quarterly journal of IIPE.

Dr.N.Shani is a graduate in Management and was awarded Ph.D. in Management for her thesis on “EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE” from Bharathiar University. She has over 12 years of teaching and research experience .She has been a teacher, trainer and Placement Coordinator. She has been instrumental in organizing National level conference as well as workshops and is a coordinator for International conference. She served as a facilitator for International Student Interaction Programme of Simmons School of Management, Boston. She has presented research papers at various International and National conferences. Her publication includes 1 book, 20 research articles in international and national journals. She is a recognized research supervisor of Anna University. She is also an external guide of Karpagam University. She is guiding 7 M.Phil and Ph.D research scholars. Two students under her guidance have successfully completed their M.Phil degree. She has attended FDP on “Writing Research proposal” at IIM (A), and has completed “Strategic Management Course” in IIM (B). She is a Member in Strategic Management Teachers Forum of IIM Bangalore.
